In order for the Verna app to track your driving, certain settings need to be correct. The settings you need to check will vary depending on whether your phone has iOS or Android.

If the app is not tracking your trips, it might be that you need to check these settings. When operating systems are updated, settings can sometimes change, and we try to keep these tips updated after the latest updates 🙏

🍎 iPhone settings

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Scroll down and tap "Apps" to find the Verna app. In older updates, you just scroll straight down and find the Verna app.

  3. Open Location

    1. Set location to "Always".

    2. Turn on "Precise Location" down there.

    3. The phone will ask you from time to time if you want to continue allowing the Verna app to track your location, be careful to choose "Always allow"

  4. Make sure the following settings are turned on

    1. Bluetooth

    2. Exercise & Fitness

    3. Live Activities

    4. Background App Refresh

  5. Open up Notifications and select "Allow Notifications".

If turned on Low Power Mode then trips will still be measured, but they won't appear in the app until turned off ‘’Low Power Mode’’.
