If there’s more than one driver in the car, you can add them in the Verna app. This way, your driving score and the score of any drivers you add will determine the price of your car insurance 👭
How do I add a driver?
Open your Verna app.
Go to your ‘’Profile’’ (the little figure in the left corner).
Tap the ‘’Drivers’’ button.
Tap on ‘’Add a driver’’ and enter their social security number
Next, you need to invite your new driver to the app by tapping ‘’Invite them to the app’’ button
Choose how you want to send the message to your new driver (Facebook, SMS, etc.).
How do I become a driver for someone else?
If you received an invitation to become a driver for someone’s car, click on the link in the message you received from them. By clicking the link on your smartphone, you’ll be directed straight to the app.
If you didn’t get a message but are sure you were added as a driver, simply open the Verna app and tap the ‘’Log In’’ button to log in with your electronic ID or Auðkenni app.
After clicking the link or logging in, you should see a notification saying you’ve been invited to become a driver 🚙. If you accept the invitation, you’ll enter the app and can start driving to reduce the car owner’s insurance price!
Can the owner track where and when the driver is driving?
No, the owner can only see the driving score and mileage for their drivers.
