The insurance is valid for driving in Iceland and within the EEA, the Faroe Islands, and Switzerland during the insurance period. The comprehensive and windshield insurance is only valid in Iceland.

You need to apply for the green card (International Insurance Card) from Verna before setting off. In the case of a vehicle with a secured loan/financing agreement from a financing company, a written confirmation that the vehicle is permitted to be taken out of the country must be obtained from the relevant company. The confirmation must be presented when applying for a green card.
